During tryouts, Red Star will collect used soccer balls and other soccer gear which we will donate to Carolina for Kibera (CFK), an international, nongovernmental organization based in the Kibera slum of Nairobi, Kenya. CFK’s soccer program brings together boys and girls from different ethnic groups in Kibera; forming ethnically diverse teams so that children may overcome the tensions through their teamwork and play.
